Yearbook: The Font That Elevates Your Campaigns

Last week, I was deep in the middle of designing a new product launch campaign for a local wellness brand. The goal was to create a cohesive visual identity that felt warm, inviting, and modern. As I browsed through font options, I came across Yearbook, a display font designed with the help of a brush pen. It immediately caught my eye—not just for its aesthetic, but for how it could bring personality and clarity to the campaign.

Yearbook for Social Media Graphics and Brand Consistency

I knew that Yearbook would be perfect for creating social media graphics that aligned with the brand’s values. Its joyful and friendly style made it ideal for Instagram posts, Facebook banners, and Twitter threads. I used it as the primary text in the campaign’s hero image, which was shared across all platforms. The font added a sense of approachability while maintaining a professional edge—something that resonated well with the target audience.

One of the biggest challenges in social media design is ensuring that your message stands out in a fast-scrolling feed. With Yearbook, I found that the bold strokes and rounded edges helped the text pop against both light and dark backgrounds. I also tested it on mobile previews to make sure it remained legible at smaller sizes. This attention to detail ensured that every post maintained a consistent look and feel, reinforcing brand recognition.

Yearbook for Webinar Banners and Event Promotions

A few days later, I was working on a webinar promotion for the same brand. The goal was to create a banner that would grab attention and encourage sign-ups. I chose Yearbook for the headline because its friendly yet dynamic style matched the tone of the event. I paired it with a clean sans serif font for the supporting text, which helped balance the design and improved readability.

Using Yearbook for the main title not only made the banner visually appealing but also helped convey the excitement around the webinar. I noticed that the font’s playful character encouraged more clicks on the registration link compared to other fonts I had tested. It was a small but meaningful difference in user engagement.

Yearbook for Email Banners and Digital Ads

As part of the campaign, I also needed to design email banners and digital ads. These assets required a font that was both readable and versatile. Yearbook worked exceptionally well in this context, especially when used for short headlines or callouts. Its friendly appearance made the content feel more personal and less salesy, which is crucial in email marketing.

I experimented with different weights and styles of Yearbook to find the best combination for each ad format. For example, the lighter weight version was ideal for overlays on images, while the bolder variant stood out in full-screen banners. I also made sure to check the included ligatures and alternates, which gave me more flexibility in designing creative layouts.

Yearbook for Online Shop Promotions and Product Teasers

When creating product teasers for the online shop, I wanted the text to feel energetic and engaging. Yearbook fit the bill perfectly. Its brush-pen texture added a handcrafted feel that complemented the product’s design. I used it for the main headline in the teaser images, which were then shared across Pinterest and Instagram.

The font’s versatility allowed me to use it in multiple ways—sometimes as a decorative title, other times as a subtle supporting text. I also considered the platform-specific needs, such as optimizing the font for thumbnails and preview cards. By ensuring that Yearbook was legible at small sizes, I avoided any potential issues with readability on mobile devices.

Yearbook for Branded Content Series and Campaign Labels

Another key part of the campaign was launching a branded content series. I needed a font that could work across various formats, from YouTube thumbnail covers to blog headers. Yearbook provided the right balance of personality and professionalism, making it suitable for both editorial and promotional content.

I used it for campaign labels, such as “Week 1,” “Week 2,” and so on, which helped keep the series organized and visually consistent. The font’s friendly nature made the content feel more approachable, encouraging viewers to engage with the material. I also paired it with a modern typography system to ensure that the overall design remained clean and uncluttered.

Yearbook for Mobile Optimization and Fast-Scrolling Feeds

With the rise of mobile-first content, I made sure that Yearbook was optimized for small screens and fast-scrolling feeds. I tested it on various devices and found that its rounded shapes and clear letterforms made it highly legible even at smaller sizes. This was particularly important for Instagram stories and TikTok videos, where the text needed to be immediately recognizable.

I also paid attention to contrast and background choices. Using Yearbook on dark backgrounds created a striking visual effect, while lighter backgrounds kept the text soft and inviting. By considering these factors, I ensured that the font performed well in a variety of contexts, from high-impact banners to subtle overlays.

Yearbook for Creative Typography and Design Assets

Finally, I explored how Yearbook could be used in creative typography projects. Its brush-pen style offered unique opportunities for artistic expression, whether it was for packaging design, editorial layouts, or web banners. I even used it in a custom logo concept, where its friendly appearance helped reinforce the brand’s identity.

Before finalizing the font for client campaigns, I made sure to check the commercial font licensing and file formats. Ensuring that Yearbook was compatible with all necessary platforms and tools gave me peace of mind, knowing that it could be used confidently in a wide range of design assets.
